Sprouted Barley Waffle Cone

Sprouted Barley Waffle Cone

Try these cones with your  next ice cream treat. 


  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 c. sugar 
  • 1/4 c. melted butter
  • 3 tbsp milk of choice 
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/4 c. all purpose flour
  • 1/4 c. sprouted barley flour


Direction :

  • Whisk together eggs and sugar in a bowl until frothy. Add in butter, milk and vanilla. Mix in flour and salt until smooth. The batter should be thin you may add more milk if need.

  • Heat a small skillet or griddle over medium heat. Brush pan lightly with oil. Pour about 1/4 cup of batter onto the skillet and turn to spread out the batter into a thin circle. Flip over when lightly brown and  remove  from the pan and form into a cone . Place on a wire rack to cool completely. Enjoy with your favourite ice cream.
