Low Carb Porridge

Low Carb Porridge 

If you are looking for a great breakfast option that is low carb here is one for you. You can also enjoy it with fruit on top making it not so low carb but still delicious . We top ours with bee pollen, passion fruit and seared pear ūüćź.¬†

Ingredients:

  • 2 tablespoons coconut flour
  • 2 tablespoons¬†Bio-Kinetics sprouted flax
  • 3/4 cup water
  • pinch of salt
  • 1 large egg beaten
  • 2 teaspoons ghee you can use butter if you prefer¬†
  • 1 tablespoon coconut milk
  • 1 tablespoon¬†your favourite low carb ¬†sweetener¬†

Directions:

  • Measure the first four ingredients into pan and put over medium heat. When it starts to simmer, whisk until it begins to thicken
  • Remove porridge from heat, add beaten egg, while whisking steadily.Place back on the heat and whisk until the porridge thickens.
  • Remove from the heat and add in ¬†the ghee, ¬†cream and sweetener.
  • Garnish with your favorite toppings.¬†
