Chocolate Chip Cookies

These chewy cookies are made with sprouted barley flour and sweeten with coconut sugar . Make them ahead and freeze the dough or bake them and enjoy them with you favourite beverage. Let us know how you enjoyed them. 

Ingredients:

  • 2/3 cup organic all purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup sprouted barley flour
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 4 tbsp coconut sugar 
  • 4 tbsp organic cane sugar
  • 1/3 cup chocolate chips, you may add more .
  • 1 tsp pure vanilla extract
  • 2 tbsp melted coconut oil
  • 3-5 tbsp milk of choice, as needed

Directions:

Preheat oven to 380 .

Combine dry ingredients and mix well.
Add in wet ingredients .Form into 
little balls and place on baking sheet.  Bake 7 minutes. Remove from oven when they are  a bit undercooked yet then let them cool 10 minutes before removing from baking sheet. You  can also make extra cookie dough balls, freeze them and bake them later.
