Savory Scones

1 ½ C. unbleached all purpose flour

½ C. Bio-Kinetics Sprouted MultiGrain Living Flour blend

¼ C. Swiss cheese

1 tsp. sage

¼ tsp. pepper

½ tsp. baking powder

½ tsp. salt

6 Tbsp. cold butter

2 eggs

1/3 C. heavy cream

Preheat Oven to 400°

Cut cold butter into flour, Sprouted MultiGrain blend, baking powder, salt, sage and pepper. Add cheese, stir in gently.

In another bowl mix together heavy cream and eggs. Gently add to the flour mixture. Turn onto a floured surface and shape into a circle. Cut into triangles. Place on a parchment papered baking sheet and bake for 10 – 12 minutes or until done.

Variation: You may wish to substitute the Swiss cheese for cheddar cheese or other flavors of your choice.
